Rate consultations begin in July
June 12, 2017

Employers invited to learn more about the preliminary rates for 2018.

WorkSafeBC is in the process of planning their annual rate consultations with employers, which will begin in mid-July.

The consultation sessions give employers across B.C. the opportunity to learn more about the preliminary rates for their industries in 2018, as well as industry trends and what they can do to reduce injuries, claim costs, and the cost of their WorkSafeBC insurance.

WSBC has posted information about the consultation sessions on, along with a link to an RSVP form, and sent invitations to more than 10,000 employers.

WSBC is also inviting key people from industry and health and safety associations, and doing outreach with a number of chambers of commerce around the province.

If you get questions about your insurance rates, please forward them to or ask them to call the rate consultation line at 604.247.7333.
