It is an honour to Chair the British Columbia Division of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME).

As you review our website you will find extensive services and products that are designed to help our members to compete and be successful in domestic and global markets.  Our training seminars, best practices, publications and insights into the business climate offer practical and applicable information for members.

A healthy manufacturing sector is critical for the Canadian economy. In the Province of British Columbia manufacturing represents over 400,000 jobs directly and indirectly.  The total provincial GDP is 11.2% - far more than the high-tech sector or tourism.   B.C. is the only Province where more than 50% of our exports DO NOT go to the US.    For every dollar spent in manufacturing, the economic spin off results in $3.00 being generated.

Membership and participation in CME offers rich rewards for all.   The CME on behalf of its members addresses critical issues such as the "Buy America" and cross border issues, environment, taxation, workers' compensation, occupational health & safety,  training and skills programs,  government regulations and compliance issues.   We are the voice of over 100,000 companies from coast to coast.

As a member of CME you have the opportunity to share and learn from your peers. The success of CME is due to the active participation of the members. All members are invited to take an active part in building this organization.
