BC Membership Sales and Development Representative
The BC Membership Sales and Development Representative is responsible for engaging with the business community, the recruitment of new members and maintaining strong relations with existing members. The BC Membership Sales and Development Representative will be one of the key faces of CME in BC and must be able to easily establish relationships with business owners, senior executives and strategic partners.
The BC Membership Sales and Development Representative is responsible first and foremost for growing membership. Your role is to sell and you must develop and deliver pitches to prospective members. You will identify company needs for training, advocacy, and other competitiveness issues. You will identify opportunities and recommend the appropriate CME or partner solution.
You will attend events to network and prospect potential members. You will support Program and Event staff to attract members to participate in various councils, seminars and workshops that are available.
In addition, you will will collect feedback from members and share it with other CME staff in order to improve CME marketing efforts and to tailor and improve programs and events offered to members. You will also collect hot topics and issues that challenge members for Policy and Advocacy staff to address. Your goal is to expand the membership value proposition.
Expectation is that the BC Membership Sales and Development Representative will spend considerable amount of time out of the office at member and prospect sites.
